Nick has been a firefighter for The Town of Queen Creek Fire Department since its inception on January 1, 2008. Prior to that, he worked at Rural/Metro Fire Department. Nick is currently stationed at Station 411, Engine 411, C-Shift in downtown Queen Creek. He recently has completed the testing process for rank of Captain in the Fire Department. Over the years, he has acquired a vast knowledge and many resources related to emergency scene management, accident prevention, and personal safety. During the winter and early spring of 2010, he completed in excess of 300 commercial occupancy safety inspections. This hands on experience has made him a leader in commercial and residential safety inspections and accident recognition. Nick’s strong work ethic, high degree of skill, and ability to think outside of the box has led to the creation of Home Hazard Prevention. It is his dream to put a fire extinguisher in every home and have a properly installed car seat for every child in Maricopa County and to help families learn to recognize preventable hazards in hopes of reducing the number of accidents in the home.
