The Fourth of July is right around the corner. As go Holidays in Arizona, so goes our (firefighters’) response to house fires and preventable injuries. We have come to expect it. And so do you- just record the news and you’ll see that I am right.
Generally fireworks of certain classifications are allowed only during specific periods in Arizona. Be sure to sure to check with your local city officials to check for what is permissible (and the dates) in your specific area.
Every year, firefighters respond to countless injuries where someone had a firework blow up in their face, burn down their house, rupture an ear drum, or severely burn themselves. Following the local laws and regulations will help keep you safer and enjoy the Holiday all that much more. A single accidental discharge from a firework can cost you to lose a finger or limb, and cost several 10s or 100s of thousands of dollars to get repaired.
