Hi, friends!
We hope that each of you had a great Holiday Season! We had a fun Christmas with our girls. What an amazing adventure to have them in our lives. We are truly blessed!
Safe Christmas Tree Disposal
Part of parenting a child is being responsible for every aspect of their safety. Part of being a responsible homeowner during the holidays means responsible disposal of your Christmas tree. After all, Christmas trees, careless smoking, space heaters, and cooking accidents are the top cause of house fires every year during the holiday season. Attention to those areas would drastically reduce the numbers of fires and senseless injuries every holiday season.
Remember to water a live tree every 2-3 days and follow your local city ordinance for proper tree disposal. A fresh cut tree dries out quickly and can catch fire and fully engulf your home in flames in under 3 minutes. Here is a good YouTube video about Christmas tree fires. Of course it’s always a good idea to have a working fire extinguisher close at hand. We can help you select and install the correct one for your home.
Unfortunately, this time of year is ideal for robberies as well. Please save and print the flyer above for some essential life-safety tips if you ever need to call 911 or leave your house due to an unexpected emergency.
